Perspectives - connecting the dots - Crossgenre project - music and dance

Book tickets

Music and dance, a well-known and natural combination.
Dancing to music - making music to dance to. Dance music, mostly rooted in folklore, but usually with a somewhat outdated image. Danced and played by young and old. What was taken for granted there, the shared experience of young and old, has gradually become a rarity. The togetherness between the generations has gradually become a juxtaposition, and not only there.
The Freiburg Accordion Orchestra under the direction of Volker Rausenberger and dancers from the Studio Pro Arte, Merzhausen, choreographed by Chantal Kohlmeyer, are now venturing a new contact between dance and music. And also between the generations. To music by Philip Glass from the film "Koyaanisqatsi - Leben im Ungleichgewicht", among others, the two formations make contact with each other. DanceMusic 2.0?!
Strengthening one's own through the other, relating to each other. Get in touch, get moving. Within yourself, with yourself and with others. Sharing ideas, opening up spaces and moving together, from point to point. And connecting every common point with each other.
Connecting the dots. Connecting moves and opens up perspectives.
