Prof. Kilian Herold, the students of the Freiburg clarinet class and other musical guests dedicate this evening to the clarinet repertoire beyond the usual canon of works. The audience can expect an extraordinary concert program with exciting repertoire discoveries, unusual arrangements for clarinet ensemble and several world premieres. To mark the Schönberg Year 2024, the composer and music theorist Robert Bauer from Freiburg will perform the completion of an early fragment of a clarinet quintet (1896) by Arnold Schönberg.
