Orfeón de Granada: Música Española

Orfeón is the most important choir from Freiburg's twin city Granada. Founded in 1903, it regularly performs concerts of the classical choral repertoire with and without orchestra throughout Andalusia, as well as evenings of zarzuela and opera compositions. It is a regular guest at international festivals. Since 2012, there has been a friendly relationship with the choir of friends of the Berthold-Gymnasium Freiburg through several joint projects.

In the program Música española, ORFEÓN sings original Spanish choral compositions from the Middle Ages to modern times. Valentín Rejano conducts.
