O great secret

The Advent program "O great mystery" is divided into three chapters and begins with the bitter cold of winter. The second chapter lures the listener away from this cold, dark place; it tells of a great mystery (O magnum mysterium) that will come and redeem people. The third chapter then points the Advent path towards Christmas and expresses the anticipation of the birth of Jesus.

A cappella choral works by Buchenberg, Poulenc, Mendelssohn, Pärt, Victoria, Schütz and others will be performed.
