New experiments à la Gerhard Richter - the squeegee technique, on a large format

Price: 125.00€

Gerhard Richter made the squeegee technique famous. The random or planned distortion of several layers of paint on top of each other with the squeegee creates a unique play of colors. This course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students. You will experiment with the smoothing trowel, the rubber squeegee, spatulas and masking tapes. Squeegeeing, stamping and scraping will be tried out in the rust and patina look (without the use of rust paints). Echoes of Gerhard Richter's work will be included. - Please bring along: Acrylic paints, acrylic brushes, paper plate, painting knife, 1 acrylic block DIN A2 or loose firm paper DIN A2 (weight from 200 m²), 4 - 5 canvases approx. 50 cm, 70 cm or larger, acrylic binding agent, water glass, cloth, food. Further material is available during the course.
