Nelly Sachs, the great Jewish poet in German

Nelly Sachs (born December 10, 1891 in Berlin, died May 12, 1970 in Stockholm) a Jewish German-Swedish writer and poet, wrote outstanding lyrical and dramatic works that interpret the fate of Israel with poignant strength.
Nelly Sachs wrote and received more than 4,000 letters, which give us an insight into her life, her character and her work. She was interested in Swedish literature from an early age and corresponded with Selma Lagerlöf for over 35 years. In 1966, Nelly Sachs was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature together with Samuel Josef Agnon.

Dr. Gertrud Rapp was the Commissioner for Christian-Jewish Dialogue in the Archdiocese of Freiburg until 2020. She had been involved in this area on a voluntary basis for over 40 years. Through the many trips she has made to Israel, she has built up networks with peace activists such as Amos Oz and David Grossman, as well as with rabbis who are involved in interfaith dialog.
In her dissertation, the speaker dealt with the disenfranchisement of Jews under National Socialism. She is well known in Freiburg for her many lectures on interfaith dialog and Judaism.

Natalia Herrera, actress, speaker, voice and speech coach born in Freiburg i.Br. in 1980, completed her acting training in Berlin in 2005. Since then, she has worked as a freelance actress, singer, speaker and presenter at numerous theaters in German-speaking countries, including Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt/Main, Freiburg, Salzburg and Schwetzingen. In 2010, she began studying cultural and media management part-time at the College of Music and Theater in Hamburg, which she completed in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts.
