BHUTAN 26° 28° N: Kingdom in the Himalayas

Traveling through Bhutan for many weeks with almost 100 kilos of camera equipment is not only a logistical and physical challenge, but also a privilege. Thanks to a good friend who has personal contacts with the Bhutanese royal family, Stefan Erdmann was able to travel freely through the country and get very close to the country and its people. From the essence of the extensive film material, Erdmann has created this fascinating, visually stunning and equally sensitive reportage.
