MUNDOLOGIA: Alps - On foot from Vienna to Nice

2,000 kilometers of freedom

The two Austrians Anita Lechner and Hans Thurner hiked from Vienna to Nice in 101 days, up and down mountains, once along the entire Alpine arc. A spectacular trekking tour with just a rucksack, tent and mountain boots. The distance covered was 2000 km and 90,000 meters in altitude. In his live reportage, Thurner reports on the highs and lows of their alpine adventure.
