Model community biotope network Albstadt (online lecture)

Free entry

Online lecture series on the topic "Active for biodiversity - what can we do?" as part of the special program to strengthen biodiversity in Baden-Württemberg. Due to its special landscape features, its urban design goals and its benefits for tourism, the town of Albstadt feels obliged to promote and implement the biotope network and thus nature and species conservation. To this end, it applied to become a model municipality for the biotope network back in 2015, drew up a biotope network plan and adopted the biotope network by the municipal council. Since then, the city of Albstadt has been continuously implementing measures from the biotope network plan in various ways. In addition to the already large-scale biotope maintenance, the focus is on measures for specific individual species such as the adder. Various stakeholders are involved in the planning and implementation of the measures. In addition to the actual implementation of individual measures, a great deal of experience is also gained on how the implementation of biotope network measures can work even better in the future. - Registration required.
