MobiData BW® data walk in Freiburg

How can mobility data support sustainable and climate-friendly mobility and thus contribute to achieving the transportation transition goals in Baden-Württemberg? So why is mobility data important - and what exactly is this data?

These are some of the questions that will be addressed during the MobiData BW® data walk - using data to promote climate-friendly mobility.
MobiData BW®, the cross-modal open data platform for mobility data in the state of Baden-Württemberg, is organizing the walk in Freiburg on 11 July 2024 from 4 - 6 pm.

The data walk was developed together with Dr. Michael Bauder, Head of the Data Science Department of the City of Freiburg.

During our data walk (approx. 2 km long), we will head for various stations where practical applications of and from mobility data in public spaces can be seen and experienced.

In short keynote speeches, you will learn how mobility data can support the development of intelligent and innovative mobility services and offers in order to demonstrate alternative mobility options besides the car.
