Matteo Mancuso - Live 2025

Matteo Mancuso, born in Palermo in 1996, is a musical prodigy. Guided by his father Vincenzo Mancuso, a renowned guitarist, Matteo made waves in the Sicilian jazz scene at an early age, performing at festivals from the age of 11 and exploring a repertoire ranging from Django Reinhardt to contemporary jazz. As a teenager, he specialized in classical guitar at a music high school and later founded the Snips Trio, which caused a stir with viral videos such as "The Chicken".
In 2017, Matteo received a scholarship from Berklee College of Music at Umbria Jazz. He performed at top events such as Musikmesse, Les Nuits De La Guitare and NAMM and led masterclasses in Russia. In 2020, he formed a new trio, presenting original compositions for the first time, and toured Italy and Europe, performing at Blue Note Milan and Auditorium Parco della Musica, among others.
Matteo graduated with honors from the Palermo Conservatory in 2022 and performed with Al Di Meola and PFM. His debut solo album *The Journey* from 2023 showcases his diverse influences, while collaborations with artists such as Tommy Emmanuel and appearances at major festivals underpin his status as a rising star. With 180,000 YouTube followers, Matteo has been praised by legends such as Steve Vai and Al Di Meola as the "evolution of fusion guitar".
