Linocut: Creating portraits with the lost plate (Easter vacation)

In this linocut course, we will deal with a special technique - the "lost plate" or elimination technique. First, a portrait photo of you or a family member, friend or even a pet will be transferred to the linocut plate. We then playfully create a multi-colored print. In the letterpress process, we always print what is left of the plate. The more is cut out, the less is left to print. The plate is "lost" step by step and the result is a portrait that will look like you or your loved one's face and will shine in many bright colors! - Please bring along: Portrait photo (preferably in profile) printed out in A4 format, non-sensitive clothing and a graphics folder (A4) - all other materials and tools will be provided and are already included in the course fee. If you wish, you can purchase your own linocut set on site at the purchase price.
