Lindy Hop advanced course

Lindy Hop - groovy, crazy, intuitively creative, full of energy! From 1928 to the 1940s, this highly popular dance was a melting pot of jazz music, African and Afro-Cuban dance cultures, tap dancing, Charleston and European couple dancing. Lindy Hop is usually danced in an open position, there is a lot of freedom for the dancers to immerse themselves in the music and turn the dance into a lively conversation with their partner, from slow to very fast.Advanced course: This course builds on the basics learned in the beginners' course. The focus is on a playful approach to the music and connecting with yourself and your partner. We will expand on the basic steps and incorporate kicks, triple steps and musical breaks. Australian-born Stephen Kellett has lived and danced in Freiburg for many years, where he founded 'The Lindy Corner' dance school in 2014 after several years of teaching experience.
