"Darling of the moon" Aymährem Akmuradova

The young Turkmen singer Aymährem Akmuradova has a deep, warm and versatile voice. A multiple award-winner - both nationally and internationally - her path between art and music finally led her to southwest Germany. The exceptional talent Aymährem from Asgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, can draw on an extensive international repertoire. Her singing will be accompanied by Julia Weeda (violin) and Beáta Lakatos (cello) from the Freiburg University of Music and the Baden-Württemberg State Youth Orchestra. Texts by Edith Gerson-Kiwi, Gottfried Benn, Haluk Levent and Hajy Yazmämmedow will build intercultural bridges on this evening.
