Reading with Thomas Weiß: If only there were someone to hear me - faith in the face of suffering

Where is God when life is going really badly? As a pastor, Thomas Weiß has often tried to find answers to this question with affected people. When he himself was hit by hardship and an illness threatened his life, everything he had said and thought about became stale. God moves away from him. In his fear, will he still find a hearing from the one in whom he has trusted so far? He doubts, but he does not want to let go of this God.
