Long live King Carrot! Long live the bad-tempered, foul-smelling, overly loud, orange-colored autocrat of the vegetable patch! United we stand under the spell of his abomination! But why? Fridolin, the real contender for the reigns, is not the only one to wonder. Because somewhere in this magically interwoven operetta, there is an inscrutable spell that makes people choose the worst of all solutions of their own free will. Fortunately, there is the five(!) leaf clover against political madness, but it has a catch: four of the five wishes come true without danger, but the last one is fatal. And so begins the battle over the all-important question of dominance, a fantastic showdown through various eras and into the animal kingdom in search of the right arguments to disempower the carrot. Please note: As the title of the operetta might wrongly suggest, this work is by no means aimed exclusively at people who eat a vegetarian or vegan diet. You will find yourself in a biting political satire on the current potentate behavior, in which the carnivorous vegetables dance on the tables until we can no longer help but return to the basis of common values. There can currently be no better director for this than Tilman Knabe, who is (still) disenchanted with politics - and who, incidentally, credibly assures us that people of all eating habits will get their culinary money's worth.
