"It all started in 1995, at a semester party now and then...", and since then three men and one woman from northern Germany have been inspiring their large music and comedy fan base throughout Germany with nothing but their voices and boundless creativity. LaleLu, the unique a cappella comedy quartet from Hamburg, is celebrating its 30th anniversary on stage, making it one of the few bands with such an enduring success story.

Since its beginnings, LaLeLu has stood for joyful, theatrical musical cabaret with political side blows - unique, witty, lively, with youthful charm and a lot of love for music. What began at a semester party in Hamburg in 1995 is now a multi-layered entertainment four-piece and the most entertaining German a cappella comedy act. Whether on a small cultural stage or in the Elbphilharmonie - whether jazz, Schlager, opera, pop, folk song, handmade music or body percussion - the four North German vocal acrobats and thoroughbred musicians with the mission of packing political satire, parody, anarchic humor and unrestrained nonsense without instruments into musical delights are a guarantee for standing ovations, sore hands, sore laughing muscles, boiling halls and great fun every evening.

For the anniversary show, Jan, Tobi, Sanna and Frank naturally pull out all the stops from their large selection of seventeen full-length programs: they sing their greatest hits and all-time favourites from three decades, but also classics long thought lost and, of course...brand new songs too!
