Ladies Night: Tia Carroll / Dawn Tyler Watson & Ben Racine Band

Tia Carroll, a seasoned blues and soul singer from the Bay Area, opens the evening with her powerful voice and captivating show. She has performed at festivals and as a headliner all over the world and has shared the stage with Ray Charles, B.B. King and Tommy Castro, among others.

Dawn Tyler Watson, Montreal's Queen of the Blues, is a permanent fixture on the international blues scene. With the power of her voice, which combines blues, soul and jazz, and her very personal stage presence, she not only impresses die-hard blues fans in the USA and Europe live. The numerous awards she has won in recent years, including the International Blues Challenge 2017 in Memphis and several Maple Blues Awards in Toronto, are testament to her skills.
She will be coming to the Freiburg Blues Festival with the brilliant Ben Racine Band, with whom she has been touring since 2013.
