Short film party 2024 - The Blackwood Film Festival | Award ceremony with champagne reception

Who will win the coveted Woodys? The what? The Woodys - our original Black Forest trophies for the winning films! Although the term "winning films" is of course completely wrong, because every film selected from over 400 entries is already a winner. However, to put the cherry on top of the Black Forest cake, we will be paying special tribute to a few of the 55 films that made it into the program at the awards ceremony. In addition to audience prizes for the best feature, animated, documentary and regional film, jury prizes will be awarded in the categories of make-up & costume, editing, acting, sound and a surprise category. This year's jury includes short film legend and Oscar winner Pepe Danquart ("Schwarzfahrer"). After the awards ceremony, the audience can look forward to a festive champagne reception with delicious canapés. In addition, all those who attend the award ceremony will receive discounted entry to our "Cadrage" party, which starts at 23:00 in the ArTik/Freizeichen.
