Art break: Thomas' religious paintings

Hans Thomas' religious depictions are the focus of a short guided tour of the Augustian museum with Adila Garbanzo León. The religious depictions are little known, although they make up a large part of his work. The Christian faith was an important anchor in the artist's life. He found role models and symbols for his own life in the figures of the Bible. He describes the religious cycle of paintings in the Thoma Chapel as his "main work".
