Art break: The Passion Altar

The Passion altar by the so-called Hausbuchmeister depicts the stages of the Passion of Christ in several pictures. Originally, the altar depicted even more scenes than can be seen in the Augustian museum today. A short guided tour illustrates the entire Passion story with a handy folding model. Participation costs the regular entrance fee. The number of participants is limited.
