Art break: The bozzetto in the Baroque era

What is a bozzetto? This is the subject of a short guided tour of the Augustian museum's Baroque collection with scientific volunteer Camilla Brantl. Before sculptures were created, they took shape as small clay models: the bozzetti. These sketches show the artists' creative diversity of ideas and provide a fascinating insight into the process of creating the sculptures. Participation costs the regular entrance fee.
