Concert "Machine, Labor, Rock"

The Goethe-Institut Freiburg cordially invites you to a double concert of the ensemble for new music entitled "Machine, Labor, Rock", which will take place on May 21 and 22, 2025 at 8 pm in the rooms of the Goethe-Institut Freiburg, Wilhelmstraße 17.

To mark its fifth anniversary, the cross-border ensemble False Relationships and the Extended Endings is presenting a special anniversary project in collaboration with the renowned Thai Tacet(i) Ensemble. The concerts are all about international exchange and contemporary music.

In addition, an open rehearsal with the composers Elnaz, Abril, Elisabeth, Joey and Dimitris will take place on May 22, 2025 from 14:00 to 16:00, providing insights into the rehearsal process and the creation of the works.

On both evenings, a multifaceted program of eleven works will be presented, including three new commissions and several pieces composed especially for the two ensembles.

We look forward to an inspiring evening of new music and international encounters and cordially invite you to join the artists for a glass of wine afterwards.

Admission is free, donations are welcome.
