Kirsten Fuchs and Susanne M. Riedel - Best of Schlamassel
Kirsten Fuchs and Susanne M. Riedel
Friday, 27/06/2025 / 08:00 PM / Vorderhaus (cultural center)
The event takes place outside in the front courtyard. In case of rain in the Vorderhaus hall.
Kirsten Fuchs looks at everyday life partly through smeared rose-colored glasses. With a crack in the glass. But in 3D, of course. Big heart, big feelings. Nothing exaggerated, everything true. Suspicions of corniness are confirmed. But it doesn't matter. Fuchs delivers Kirsten Fuchs insights in an inimitable way.
Between the climate crisis and menopause, feminism and
fairy dust, parties and package inserts, Susanne M. Riedel sets out in search of the good moments - if the big world doesn't provide them, the little ones will have to do. With a defiant wink, she settles into this new territory, attends a prom, a hen party and a rehabilitation clinic and, all in all, practices cheerful wilting.
Kirsten Fuchs is an award-winning writer (including "Mädchenmeute"), has been a Berlin reading stage star for over 20 years and is known on radio and television for good reason. Her current monthly stage is called "Fuchs und Söhne".
Susanne M. Riedel is a member of the Berlin reading stages "Der Frühschoppen" and "Reformbühne Heim & Welt". Her current solo program is called "Lebensmitte-Allergie".
Both authors are members of the cabaret quartet Textbomben, among others.
"Kirsten Fuchs is like her texts: charming, intelligent and very, very funny. When I perform with her, I often deliberately do short texts so that I can hear more of her. Great class." Horst Evers
"Susanne M. Riedel's view of the world is a gift." Horst Evers also
