Every person is unique, every person is special in their own way, and that is fundamentally a good thing. But living in a society also means sometimes having to take a step back and adapt so that the overall system works. Sometimes you want to fit in, belong, simply disappear into the crowd. Sometimes you still stand out. And sometimes that's exactly what you want: to stand out. What does it mean to be part of a group? What does it mean to be alone? What does it mean to show yourself as you are? And to experience rejection. And what is it like to be appreciated and loved with all your idiosyncrasies? Can you be part of a group and still be unique and authentic?
