Price: from 12.00€ to 18.00€
The Kammerphilharmonie Freiburg has been planning to perform Beethoven's violin concerto together with Jermolaj Albiker on the solo violin for several years. Now the time has finally come for the orchestra to accompany the renowned soloist - the first concertmaster of the SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden/Freiburg. With incredible ease, the violinist is able to elicit a precise and radiant sound from his instrument
and to make even the most technically and musically demanding passages of the piece sound brilliant.
The contrast to the classical solo concerto is provided by Sibelius' Symphony No. 5. The Finnish composer developed his very own musical style in the transition from late Romanticism to Modernism. Between the complicated harmonies and the shifting rhythms, impressions from nature always remain recognizable in the music. The symphony concludes the Kammerphilharmonie concert with its grandiose swan theme.
