Kakkmaddafakka - Fall Twenty Four Tour

The five energetic Norwegians from Kakkmaddafakka don't need long breaks, they are made for touring and live gigs! Their energy never seems to dry up. They showed this once again on their seventh album "Revelation". The current album is the logical follow-up to "Diplomacy" (2019), which also sounded much more electronic than its predecessor "Hus" (2017). The five Norwegians prove once again that they can develop their sound without straying too far from their roots. The increasing influence of synthesizers in particular has shaped Kakkmaddafakka's sound in recent years. The fact that they are also stylistically oriented towards older styles does not detract from the fun. Modern pop sounds like in the opener "Sixth Gear" alternate with new wave quotes like in "Good Guy" or disco beats like in "Horses Are Running", without ever losing touch with the band: "We don't sit down and say we want to make a song from the 70s or 80s," says Pål Vindenes about working on the album, "our sound is completely organic because of the different influences we have in the band. The only thing that matters to us is that in the end we say: Yes, that's the Kakk sound!" Now they are coming back this fall for another explosive European tour, where they will not only captivate audiences with their ecstatic live shows, but also pull their highly anticipated new songs from their upcoming eighth album out of the bag. On their tour, they will be performing new songs alongside timeless hits such as "Restless", "Naked Blue" and "Forever Alone".
