Just spray it! Graffiti beginners' workshop

The graffiti beginners' workshop is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to paint with a spray can: In our two-day workshop, we offer a first insight into this colorful world. In the theory lessons, we look at the history of graffiti, materials science, the legal background and basic knowledge of typography. We learn about the origins of modern graffiti, how a spray can works and the possible consequences of spraying in unauthorized places. Together we create initial sketches on paper and plan our choice of colors. We then prepare the necessary spray cans, gloves and masks for the practical day. On the second day, we will prime our legal wall in the Hall of Fame at the Dreisam. Under the guidance of our instructor, the participants will independently spray designs over large areas of the concrete wall. The focus is on having fun with the spray can. The workshop is not only intended for interested young people, but is also a great event for people of all ages and takes place in all weathers. Registration deadline: 25.4.
