The varied kaleidoscope of Freiburg's pavement mosaics naturally also has a few academic traces to offer alongside the traditional, the political and the simply pretty. The tour leads to these pavement mosaics with a university connection. The aim is to understand the craftsmanship, marvel at the beauty and puzzle over the mysterious.
