Important note in advance: the Lokhalle is not heated! Dress accordingly; hot drinks will be offered and a small contingent of blankets will be provided.

Haugtussa tells the story of the young shepherdess Veslemøy. She grows up on a small farm in southwest Norway. She has a rich imagination and a special talent: she sees the living in the landscape, recognizes the destructive forces in others and herself and can see the souls of the dead. Her young equilibrium is shaken by her first great love. There is also the Haugkall, a mystical, blue nature creature that wants to lure her into its kingdom in Blauberg. Will Veslemøy survive the many rehearsals?

A musical theater based on the Norwegian masterpiece from 1895 by Arne Garborg, with music by Edvard Grieg and Konstanze Ihle.
