Half-day scything course at the eco station

The half-day course is aimed at anyone interested in learning how to mow with a scythe for private use in gardens and orchards. The course covers the essentials, including sharpening the scythe. The (necessary) sharpening is only briefly explained. You can mow and practise under professional supervision. It is not necessary to bring your own equipment, but you can bring it along for inspection: Snack, drink, sun protection, weatherproof work clothes, sports gloves if necessary, complete mowing equipment will be provided
Material science, sharpening, ergonomics and movement sequence, mowing techniques, use of cuttings and ecological meadow management (etc.)

Course location: Orchard meadow directly at the eco-stationThe course will take place even in light rain.
