A stronger start to your professional future

How can women who have their roots in another country find their professional path in Germany? What does migration mean for many migrant women personally and professionally? What are the positive aspects of the migration experience for the labor market and how can migrant women use these as personal advantages?
These are the topics covered in the workshop series for migrant women "Starting your professional future with strength". This will take place between Wednesday, April 17 and Wednesday, September 18.
In five workshops, participants will reflect on their experiences as migrants and develop strengths for their next professional steps in Germany.
Psycho-educator and empowerment trainer Gabriela Varela Lopez shows that even language barriers or rejections in job applications can make you stronger and bring you closer to professional success.
In the future workshop and the accompanying individual counseling appointments with the Women and Career contact point, the participants develop concrete career prospects.
The free workshops take place in the town hall in Stühlinger.

1st workshop "Future workshop": Wed, 17.4.2024, 4 to 7 pm
2nd workshop "Who am I here?": Mon, 13.5.2024, 4 to 6 p.m.
3rd workshop "I believe in myself!": Wed, 12.6.2024, 4 to 6 p.m.
4th workshop "I dare to speak German!": Mon, 8.7.2024, 4 to 6 p.m.
5th workshop "I'm stronger than I thought!": Wed, 18.9.2024, 4 to 6 pm
All workshops can be booked individually, participation in all dates is recommended.
