Talk and discussion: "The end of the war in the museum"

The event series "1945. KriegsEnden. Perspectives on the end of the war and its significance today" by the Institute for Cultural Analysis of the Germans of Eastern Europe is making a stop at the Documentation Center for National Socialism (DZNS).
What tasks and challenges do historical museums and Nazi documentation centers face today? What ways of mediation are there after the end of contemporary witnessing? What does exhibition practice look like in the present and the future? Julia Wolrab, Scientific Director of the DZNS, Anna Haut, Scientific Director of the Friedland Museum, and Monika Sommer, Director of the House of History Austria, will discuss these issues.
