Talk: Sounding archives

The Museum für Neue Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art) invites you to a discussion with Christine Löbbert, College of Music Freiburg, and Johannes Müske, Center for Popular Culture and Music University campus Freiburg, and students, about "Sounding Archives" on the occasion of the exhibition "Listening Differently". Interested parties will gain an insight into the musical archive of the Albert Ludwigs University campus Freiburg, where our musical heritage is stored. Although music is fleeting and is created in the moment, there are various storage media that permanently preserve sounds and tones, either in audiovisual form or with the help of written sign systems. The event costs the regular entrance fee.
