Shaping diversity together - projects from Baden-Württemberg's nature parks

Free entry

Online lecture series on the topic "Active for biodiversity - what can we do?" as part of the special program to strengthen biodiversity in Baden-Württemberg. The seven nature parks in Baden-Württemberg are large protected areas and are committed to preserving the cultural and natural environment in the state. Their work focuses on developing sustainable tourism offers, strengthening regional producers and value chains as well as environmental education and nature conservation. In this presentation, various projects and offers from Baden-Württemberg's nature parks will be presented, which work together with full-time and voluntary actors from different areas to promote biodiversity. It will be shown how the nature parks support the promotion of biodiversity on a "small" but also "larger" scale. The "Blooming Nature Parks" and "Nature Park Communities for Biodiversity" projects are presented in more detail. The "Blooming Nature Parks" is a cooperation project between all seven nature parks with the aim of promoting insect habitats together with the project participants. In the "Nature Park Communities for Biodiversity" project, the Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park networks various stakeholders to bring more biodiversity to communities and towns. The municipality of Zaberfeld serves as the first model municipality in the project. - Registration required.
