The joys of being wrong are based on a personal experience of the two performance artists Paul Norman and Leander Ripchinsky. On the one hand, they observe in themselves that, like many others, they defend their own views and opinions ever more vehemently. On the other hand, they are surprised to discover that it is a deeply satisfying experience every time they discover that they were wrong. The experience of having changed and being able to admit it - can there be anything better?
The performance and clothes-swapping party, The Joys of Being Wrong, is based on this realization and looks for ways to experience more of the grandiosity of being wrong. Tedious Work are a German-British performance group, which is why their performances are bilingual.
