Vacation program: Picnic on the beach

Bright blue, warm yellow: the early Impressionists painted the beaches of French Normandy in intense colors. We immerse ourselves with all our senses in the beach motifs and color worlds of the painters. At the "beach picnic", we explore 19th century swimwear, listen to the waves and think about how the sea smells or why blue is called a cold color. Everyone paints their own beach pictures in the studio. The program is free of charge. Registration by 31.7., 12 noon by email to museumspaedagogik@freiburg.de is required. After registration, we will send you a declaration of consent, which is a prerequisite for participation.
