Due to the intensive preparations for the opening of the 3rd construction phase of the Augustian museum, the House of Prints and Drawings is taking a break from exhibitions until April 2026. During this time, the Print Collections of the Augustian museum and the Museum für Neue Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art) will open their portfolios once a month on an alternating basis and invite visitors to a one-off presentation of selected works. Head of the Prints and Drawings Department Felix Reuße will kick things off with sheets that have never been shown before and that were acquired or donated to the Augustian museum's collection in 2022.
