Donkey hike with guided tour of wild herbs (excursion)

A wild plant walk in the Tuniberg near FR-Opfingen, accompanied by an experienced medicinal plant educator and his loving donkey couple "Angelo & Paulina". We learn how to handle donkeys and practise distinguishing and safely identifying medicinal and tasty plants. You will also learn about numerous possible uses, some traditional customs and stories from plant mythology. Especially in the fall, we find a wide variety of wild fruits, roots and all kinds of useful things. On this approximately 8 km long route, we move between the colorful vines of golden October, a NABU bee garden and some strips of field shrubs. A limestone-rich foothills in an old cultural landscape of the southern Black Forest. Numerous views invite you to pause and enjoy, between the Black Forest, Kaiserstuhl and Upper Rhine. Try one or two wild fruit delicacies from our own production. You will receive tasty recipe suggestions and plant descriptions at the end of this hike. Please bring a rucksack with enough to drink. Sturdy shoes are required and clothing suitable for the weather. And please also remember to bring rain protection. - Registration required.
