Opening concert

We are opening the new 2024/25 season with pieces from three groundbreaking operas in music history. ALCINA by George Frideric Handel from the 18th century, TOSCA by Giacomo Puccini, written in the 19th century, and JENŮFA by Leoš Janáček from the early 20th century. In addition, two symphonic works by Puccini will be performed, which are often unjustly overshadowed by his operas. A fabulous start to an exciting season! Leoš Janáček Overture from the opera JENŮFA George Frideric Handel Arias from the opera ALCINA Giacomo Puccini CAPRICCIO SINFONICO / I CRISANTEMI / Arias from the opera TOSCA
