A soirée on the Nazi martyr Max Josef Metzger - also via livestream

On Monday, December 9 at 7 pm, the Catholic Academy Freiburg, Wintererstr. 1, invites you to an evening of lectures and discussions about the priest, pacifist, ecumenist and resistance fighter against the Nazi dictatorship Max Josef Metzger. Max Josef Metzger's life and work stand for his commitment to peace, international understanding and the unity of the churches. Pastor Dietrich Becker-Hinrichs (member of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation, Lahr), Dr. Barbara Henze (expert in the history of piety and regional church history, Freiburg) and Dr. Christoph Schmider (Head of the Diocesan Office for Archives, Libraries and Records Management) will take part in the discussion.

The event is being held in cooperation with "Peace Work and Retreats" at the Maria Lindenberg Retreat House and the "Peace Education and pax christi" department at the Archbishop's Pastoral Care Office in Freiburg as well as the Academic Forum
