Three concerts in which the trumpet and flugelhorn (played by Stephen Altoft) are presented as duo partners: in three different constellations with string instruments - cello, viola and violin - as well as with vibraphone.

The third and final concert on July 7 is a duo with the violinist/violist of Ensemble Aventure and the Holst Sinfonietta, Katharina Schmauder.

Different transcriptions of Bartok's violin duos connect the three concerts and lead the audience through arrangements, improvisations and compositions from early Baroque to the present day.
