Dieter Ilg Trio - "motherland"

Dieter Ilg has been one of the most influential voices in European jazz for years. His international reputation is based on his electrifying vitality, intelligent curiosity, technical brilliance and sensitive devotion to the moment. This has resulted in three ECHO Jazz awards, especially for his trio projects.
The renowned double bassist also owes these awards to his two famous colleagues Rainer Böhm (piano) and Patrice Héral (drums), who are second to none.

Following arrangements and improvisations of exclusively classical works, a very personal program and an album have now been created. A surprise, a transformation and a metamorphosis at the same time. You have to experience this German-French, internationally established trio, listening alone is not enough.
