Dies Universitatis on May 20, 2025

Presentation of the University Medal, getting to know the University Council and panel discussion on the topic "The mind and the machine - teaching, learning and research for an unsteady future?" at the Dies Universitatis 2025.

As part of the Dies Universitatis, Rector Prof. Dr. Kerstin Krieglstein will honor outstanding personalities who have made a special contribution to the University campus Freiburg on Tuesday, 20 May 2025. This year's University Medal will also be awarded to Prof. Dr. Marco Prinz.

Another item on the program is the presentation of the University Council, which has been in office since October 1, 2024. In addition to a video portrait, there will be an interview with Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Andreas Voßkuhle, Deputy Chairman of the University Council.

Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Meike Bonefeld (Department of Education and Socialization), Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Ruhstorfer (Dean of the Faculty of Theology), Prof. Dr.Thomas Stieglitz (BrainLinks BrainTools spokesperson) and Amélie Zacharie (graduate of the Digital Competencies certificate) on the topic of "The mind and the machine - teaching, learning and research for an unsteady future?".
