The underestimated strengths of the second half of life

The underestimated strengths of the second half of life

Free entry

Psychologist and ageing researcher Prof. Dr. Hans-Werner Wahl from the University of Heidelberg will be speaking about the opportunities and strengths of getting older on Tuesday, February 25 at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Academy Freiburg, Wintererstr. 1. In his lecture - which can also be followed online - he will show that the second half of life offers much more development potential than is often assumed. Based on current scientific findings, he argues for a new view of ageing that leaves outdated negative ideas behind. The "young" age between 60 and 80 in particular represents an independent, enriching phase of life in which important human strengths can grow.

Admission is free. Registration at www.katholische-akademie-freiburg.de
