The color shapes the picture (spring course)

In this course we deal with color. Their sound, the sequence of their nuances, their harmonies and rhythms - these are essential qualities that can be experienced. Colors develop their greatest possible effect when they interact, when they strengthen or weaken each other. The knowledge of color contrasts, such as light-dark, cold-warm, complementary contrasts, supports the painter.\Pigments are applied to the canvas with a special beeswax glaze binder. This allows you to determine the density of the colors yourself: From opaque color application to the finest, delicate glazes, everything is possible.

Course instructor: Dürr, Andrea. The course instructor studied at the painting school of the Australian artist Paul Pollock in Freiburg. Her works have been shown in numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad.
