Deutschlandfunk Kultur on Tour with Harald Schmidt

Presenter Korbinian Frenzel invites you to a discussion about the issues of our time - with prominent guests from the media, culture and politics. The audience will also be involved. The event invites you to join in the discussion. An open exchange about what concerns people in Freiburg and what they expect from the media. With Harald Schmidt, the former chancellor of entertainment, we take a look at everything that moves the country two weeks before the general election. Or what is holding it back. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Or do we only see the headlights of the train speeding towards us - or the lights of the sinking dream ship? The actor and satirist Harald Schmidt is a guest of Deutschlandfunk Kultur at Theater Freiburg. As a native Swabian, he can do everything. Even High German. He knows the region and the political events of the day. Does it scare him? Hardly. Because this man seems fearless. The event in Freiburg is part of the Deutschlandradio Think Tank. Every year, the public project deals with a major topic of our time - in fair and free debate, on air, at events and in dialog with listeners and experts. In 2025, the think tank asks itself: "Doing instead of complaining! What happens when everyone pitches in...". Visit us and have your say!
