The jug - the box - the bowl Porcelain turning course

Inspired by Far Eastern aesthetics and contemporary ceramic art, we produce cylindrical shapes, matching handles or lids, bowls, with or without a base. The leather-hard vessels can also be decorated if desired. We will embark on a journey together to find a good way of handling the porcelain material. Step by step, carefully and with patience. All work steps will be shown and discussed in practice. We will also discuss the drying process, firing and glazing of porcelain. Many useful, practice-oriented tips and information are waiting for you. Be welcome :-) The course offers the opportunity to get to know the material porcelain or to expand and deepen experiences already made. Participants should be able to center500 gr. clay safely.
Course times: Fri. 4-8pm, Sat. 10am-5pm, Sun. 10am-4pm
Lunch is included in the course fee.
