De König vo de Narre - Premiere

Freiburg im Breisgau, a long time ago: Red Roderich has seized power in Freiburg and now, in order to consolidate his position, wants to marry his daughter Gwendolin to the grim knight Grieswald from Swabia against her will.

Meanwhile, a group of rebels led by the "Green Fox" are planning to overthrow Red Roderich. Among the rebels is the amiable fairground juggler Hubert Haslach, who, together with the beautiful Graziella, is tasked with protecting the last rightful heir to the throne, a baby, and reclaiming the throne. To get to Red Roderich's castle, Hubert slips into the role of the court jester Augustin, who has been appointed to the court of Freiburg.

What Hubert doesn't know is that the real Augustin has not only been hired as a court jester, but also as a contract killer. When he arrives at the castle, a serious mix-up ensues. The confusion takes a fast-paced, unforeseen course - until the all-important showdown...
