"David and Goliath" in global challenges

David Ranan and Ben Hodges discuss the Gaza war and the role of the USA and Germany in this conflict. They also address the question of what security policy challenges a second Trump administration would entail. Dr. David Ranan is an Israeli-British-German author and cultural and political scientist. Among other things, he examines the anti-Semitism discourse in Germany and its politicization as well as anti-Semitism among Muslims. Lieutenant General (ret.) Ben Hodges was commander of the US Army in Europe from 2014 to 2017. Today he is a NATO Senior Mentor for Logistics and advises corporations and NGOs on security policy issues. The evening will be moderated by Dr. Alexandra Schwarzkopf.
